New frontiers for new learning
What is on for June 2015
June 4, 2015Posted by on
The sun is shining and the birds are chirping and that means… June is here. Yesterday many of our grade 7 students participated in a leadership opportunity working with the company that repainted our playground lines. Students will now become playground leaders and work with our primary and junior students sharing how to play the games and fostering an inclusive mindset when on our playground. We are proud of these leaders as the representatives from the company were impressed with the level of commitment, and polite and respectful behaviour demonstrated by these grade 7 students. We are so proud of how you represented Lorna Jackson yesterday.
Today we have MADD Canada presenting to our Grade 7 and 8 students about the dangers of drinking and driving. A letter went home to families a week ago to explain the content of the presentation. If you would like more information, please go to www.madd.ca
