Our school values your input. We are inviting parents and guardians to participate in a survey to support student achievement and well-being.
The surveys provide the Board and our school with valuable information about how you feel about the school environment and your child’s education. Results from the survey will be used to identify areas to be addressed, monitor progress and plan strategies to support students.
The questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and is available online and in paper format. Please complete the survey between May 20 and June 2 using one of the following methods:
- Paper copies are available in English, Chinese, Farsi, Gujarati, Hebrew, Korean, Punjabi, Russian, Tamil, Urdu and Vietnamese. Please contact the school to request paper questionnaires. If you choose to complete the survey on paper, please return it to the school in the envelope provided.
The information you provide will be anonymous and individual responses will be kept strictly confidential. Individuals will not be identified in any reports resulting from this survey.
We appreciate your participation in this voluntary survey. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
Your thoughts and insights will help further our vision as we work together to promote student achievement and well-being.

School Climate Survey for Parents/Guardians
Between May 20 and June 2, we will be inviting parents/guardians to participate in a school climate survey. The surveys provide the Board and our school with valuable information about how you feel about the school environment and your child’s education. The results will be used to identify areas that need to be addressed, monitor progress and plan strategies to support student achievement and well-being. We value parent input and encourage you to complete the survey. The information parents provide will be anonymous, considered confidential and kept in strict accordance with all relevant legislation. Information about how to access the survey will be sent home with students later in May. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
If you would prefer a paper copy of the survey please let our main office know by April 24, 2014.

Nutrition Workshop: Growing a Healthy Child – Thursday, April 24
Good nutrition is essential for a growing body. Eating good food will ensure your child will maintain optimal health during their most important developing years.
Come join Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Debora Palmieri, on Thursday, April 24 from 7-8:30 pm for this informative talk. Debora will be speaking about children’s nutrition, including healthy habits for every child, nutritious meal and snack ideas plus kid-friendly recipes, and tips for feeding a picky eater. You will learn how to get the most nutrition out of your meals, so that you can grow a healthy child! RSVP is required. Further information will be sent home with your child.
